- Supplementary Description: Virtual Reality is perhaps one of the most heavily discussed technologies of recent years. Having outgrown its origins as a video game interface, VR has found applications in fields as diverse as Medicine, Education, military training, trauma recovery, and agriculture. The technology to closely simulate physical environments has important experimental implications. Virtual worlds allow us to isolate and manipulate components in complex systems to see how they contribute to the system as a whole.
